Jordan Vauvert Jute Gyte est coutumier du fait de changer de styles, mais on remarque surtout un effet d'alternance entre du black metal microtonal (c'était le cas avec Isolation) et de l'electro avant-gardiste. Witzelsucht fait précisément partie de ce champ expérimental. Cet album repose surtout sur l'ostinato, procédé consistant à répéter des motifs musicaux de manière quasi compulsive avec de légères variations. Jute Gyte introduit aussi des ambiances presque spatiales très intéressantes et troublantes. Favorite track: Autodoor.

Notes:
Tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 are built from ostinati that gradually transform timbrally, melodically and rhythmically. "Autodoor" is built on an ostinato (derived from Genesis/MegaDrive ROM hacking) that gains new embellishments and extensions with each repeat and gradually goes out of phase with its duplicate. The title track's rhythm section is an ostinato that undergoes another layer of processing every ~33 seconds; the other elements are derived from processed ROM hacking.
