Favorite track: Helian I.

Matt A Jute Gyte is a great project and I can only assume this dude is a great guy too, as he always uses bandcamp days to benefit great causes. I am not a musician and can't really comprehend what goes into this whole microtonal business, but it sounds big, challenging, and cool. Favorite track: Helian I.

guska2 i never thought that G. Trakl was possible in a metal context but i'm glad that Adam Kalmbach proved me wrong! Great seems to be a far too small word for describing the music.....

A setting of Georg Trakl's "Helian". The first track is from a 2018 split with Spectral Lore released by Black Horizons and I, Voidhanger. Though I recorded vocals for the entire poem, I could only fit the first third of the poem in that track. The following tracks use the remaining vocals alongside deconstructions of the first track's musical materials. Recorded 2017.

Thanks to James, Luciano and Spectral Lore.
